Islamabad traffic police during the last one year did well while performing the security and traffic duties. The main concentration has been on regulating the parking areas, moving violation of traffic code. Special drive against the unregistered vehicles, tainted glasses and the smoke emitting vehicle was carried out at different times which resulted into:

Apart from this the traffic staff of CTP has been carrying out traffic classes for the general public specially the public transport drivers and also in colleges and school, for creating more awareness about the traffic law.

Action against the Proclaimed Offenders.

A special drive was initiated to arrest the Proclaimed Offenders at all the Police Station level in ICT for which purpose special teams were constituted. Due to the concerted efforts we were able to arrest 29 Proclaimed Offenders out of the total 243 involved in different offences in ICT.
