Classroom and College Equipment

              The classroom are spacious, well-lighted, and well-ventilated. Besides the classrooms there are also subject rooms equipped according to the requirements of particular subject The College has a 16mm projector, overhead projector, Epidiascope, slide film strip projector, tape recorder V.C.R. and other audio visuals aids. There is a separate Science Block which is self-contained unit with its own gas plant, lecture room, faculty rooms, laboratories for practical work in Physics, Chemistry and Biology, as commodious store-cum prepartion rooms.
            There is a well finished and well-equipped Library-cum-Reading Room and the students make full use of it. There is a separate library for Junior students.
              With the introduction of Computer Classes from the year 1992, Abbottabad Public School & College, Abbottabad has entered the Computer age. Students from 7th to 12th classes will have the opportunity to learn Computer programming and Applications, for which two periods per week have been provided in the teaching time-Table. The Computer room has been equipped with Twenty-Three Computers. A highly qualified instructor has been recruited to train the students on this and sophisticated device. The institution will be affiliated with a suitable Board of Technical Education of N.W.F.P. for the purpose of Certificate/Diploma Examination so that along with the academic qualification, the students may posses an additional qualification in technical field.

Houses

              The college is mainly residential. On admission, the boys are assighned different houses. Every house is the charge of Housemaster. The Housemaster's is to supervise, conduct and guide the boys activities and thoughts towards useful constructive channels. He also helps them solve their personal problems and difficulties. All houses have their own recreation rooms. During their free time and on holidays, the boys paly indoor games, watch T.V. and make use of the small House Libraries, attached to each House.

 Extra-Curricular Activities

              Games and sports are given their due share in the life of this College and are compulsory for every body. The masters coach the boys in all the sports and frequently take part in the games along with them. On Sundays, a period is reserved for hobbies and societies and every boy is expected to select least one activity so that he may be able to develop his special interests and aptitude which may not scope for expression in the ordinary curriculum or on the paying curriculum or on the playing field.

  RELIGIOUS EDUCATION  

ReligiousEducation is a compulsory subject at all stages. The is Islamiyat course includes:

    (1)          Reading of the Holy Quran (Nazira).
    (2)          Knowledgeof the fundamental of Islam and learning of 'Namaz' with translation .

    (3)          Memorization and Explanation of new 'Suras' and 'Ayats' from the Holy Quran including social virtues and practical         goodness.             

    (4) Life of a Holy Prophet, (peace be upon him),Early  Caliphates, Saints and Heros of Islam.                                

  MILITARY TRAINING 

             N.C.C.

 Our student are provided compulsory  military training  to inculcate discipline among them. Three platoons are drown from college section. They get 20 mark for the training as provided by the Government of Pakitan.

 HEALTH  AND SANITATIOM

          A Medical Offices assisted by a Dispenser is in change of the Collage Hospital. The boy undergo medical tests periodically, and terminal health reports along with the progress report  are sent to the parents.
          The student are provided with a balanced and nourishing diet and the menu is prepared by the Mess Committee in consultation with the medical authorities. The Masters on duty take their meals with boy and send a daily report on the quality of food to Principal

 GENERAL COLLAGE RULES

    (1)              Boy are not allowed any leave during the term time nor are they allowed to go home on week-ends except stick leave during the term time nor are they allowed to go to home on week-ends except in case of emergency.
    (2)              Boys must turn up punctually on the first day of each term. Those who remain absent from college without permission for a week or more, are liable to struck off the rolls of the college. A fine of Rs.50/- for the first day of the absence and Rs.10/- for each subsequent day will be charged for absence without leave.
    (3)              The principal has full authority to fine, punish or ask any body to leave the college if at any time he feel that boy'stay in the collage is not in the interest of the boy or the institution.

    (4)  Boys are not allowed to keep any other itemof  cloting except those mentioned Appendix "A".

    (5) Parents are required to make sure that their sons/wards do not bring any of the following articles with them:-

      (i)     Electric appliances like heaters, immersion rods, radios, transistors, record players.
      (ii)    Bicycles, motor cycles and scooters.
      (iii)  Long knives and fire-arms.
      (iv)  Valuable watches etc.

     (6)  Parents and relatives should visit the boys only on vistors's days as specified in the college calander. The parents are advised to intimate the Principal well in advance of their intended visit so that the boys;s presence on premises be sured.

    (7)  The names of relatives and friends, alongwith their full addresses, who are authorized to see the boy, must to intimated to the college. If a relative or a friend whose name ihas not been given before hand wishes to see the boy, it is necessary that he should bring a letter of authority from the parents for the purpose.
    (8) Prents or visitors must not meet/contact any boy without first obtaining the permission of the Housemaster concerned.
    (9) A boy will be allowed to visit Abbottabad town only twice a month according to the college calender.
      Boys must obtain permission for such visits from their Housemasters a day before i.e; on Thursday s.
    (10)          All boys will write to their parents once a week, preferably on Thursday evening or Friday morning.
    (11)          Damage to furniture or other college property has to be made good by the student.
    (12)          Pupils suffering from contagious or infectious disease are not permitted to attend the college.
    (13)          No body is allowed to open a private account in the Post Office or bank without the prior permission of his Housemaster, and he is not allowed to keep a credit account with the college café or shops.
    (14)          Before admission to this college, it is imperative for parents to produce a medical certificate as to the physical fitness of their sons/wards.
