How
to configure Sound Card Driver.
This installation
will guide you through to install the sound card drivers. The following
steps will install the Turtle Beach TBS 2000 or Tropez Plus Sound Card
Drivers in Windows95..
-
Start Windows
95. When Windows 95 detects the new hardware and asked which drivers to
use, select "Drivers from disk provided by hardware manufacturer".

Insert the Turtle
Beach installation diskette, then browse to the drive where it is located.
-
Then click "OK".
This will copy the driver files onto the hard disk.

The New Hardware
Dialog should appear, listing the Gameport joystick. Click on Windows Default
Driver button , and click "OK". Insert the Windows 95 CD-ROM or diskette
into the appropriate drive.
If you are
installing from the CD-ROM, open the Win95 folder.(If you are installing
from diskette, it is not necessary to change directory.)
Then click
"OK".

The New Hardware
Dialog should appearlisting the CS4232 Support Registers. Windows 95 will
automatically install the registers. No user action is required.

The New Hardware
Dialog should appear listing the MPU-401 MIDI Compatible.
Click on the
"Windows Default Driver" button, then click "OK".

Insert the Windows
95 CD-ROM or diskette into the appropriate drive.
If you are
installing from the CD-ROM, open the Win95 folder.(If you are installing
from diskette, it is not necessary to change directory.)
Windows 95
may prompt you to restart the computer. Click "NO" and continue the installation
process.

The New Hardware
Dialog should appear listing the Turtle Beach Wavetable MIDI Synthesizer.
Insert the Turtle Beach Drivers diskette into the floppy drive.
Click on the
"Driver Disk provided by Hardware Manufacturer", then click "OK".
Select the
correct disk drive for your floppy drive and click "OK". The Turtle Beach
Driver files will be copied onto your hard drive.

Windows 95 may
prompt you to restart your computer. Click "NO" to continue the installation
process.

Click the "Start"
button on the taskbar, and select Shutdown. Click "YES" to shut down the
computer.
After Windows
95 notification, shut off the power. Power your computer on again to start
Windows 95 with your newly installed Turtle Beach Drivers.
NOTE:
Your joystick may not function with any software until it is calibrated
and configured with the Joystick control panel.

How
to configure Display / GRAPHIC Card Driver.
This installation
will guide you through to install the display card drivers. The following
steps will install the Number Nine Display Drivers in Windows95.

Start Windows
95. When Windows 95 detects the new hardware and asked which drivers to
use, select "Drivers from disk provided by hardware manufacturer".

Insert the Number
Nine CD-ROM or diskette, then browse to the drive where it is located.
If you are
installing from the CD-ROM, open the Win95 folder.(If you are installing
from diskette, it is not necessary to change directory.)

Select the software
drivers for your Number Nine card and click "OK".

Restart your computer
to change the system settings.

In Windows 95,
select "Run" from the "Start" button.
Choose the
"Browse" button and browse to the drive where the Number Nine CD-ROM and
diskette is located.

If you are installing
from the CD-ROM, open the Win95 folder.(If you are installing from diskette,
it is not necessary to change directory.)
Select SETUP.EXE
and click on "Open".

In the Run box,
click "OK". Follow the instructions on the setup screen to install HawkEye
95.
Restart the
computer after the installation is completed.

How
to configure CD-ROM.
IDE CD-ROM
-
Get into your CMOS settings. (you can do this by hitting
the "DEL" key when prompted on startup.) In CMOS setup, ensure that the
"On-board Secondary IDE Channel" is enabled. Save the CMOS settings and
reboot your system.

Go to Command prompt and run the CD-ROM installation
diskette that come with the hardware. The installation diskette will modify
the Config.sys and autoexec.bat in order for the system to recognize the
CD-ROM. Below is an example on the statement added by NEC 8X installation.
