      Q1. How do I manually load Windows NT?

       The following steps can be used to load Windows NT manually. This is done when the normal way of loading Windows NT from the CD-ROM fails.
      Boot your system to DOS, ensure that the CD-ROM drive is recognized.
      Change to your CD-ROM drive by typing "D:" (or whatever drive letter your CD-ROM was assigned) and press "<ENTER>".
      Change the directory on your CD-ROM drive by typing "CD\I386", and press "<ENTER>".
      Type in "WINNT /B"and press "<ENTER>".
      Follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation process.
      This will load Windows NT with a floppiness installation to Drive C:.

      Q2. My sound does not work in Windows NT4.0?

       As a default the sound drivers are not loaded in Windows NT4.0. Follow the steps below.
      To install the drivers for a Creative Labs sound card in Windows NT4.0 follow these steps.
      Click on the "Start" button.
      Go to "Settings".
      Click on the "Control Panel" to open it.
      Double-click on the "Multimedia" icon in "Control Panel".
      Click on devices and select "Add"
      From the list that comes up click on "Creative Labs SoundBlaster 1.x, Pro, 16"
      Then click on "OK"
      At this point it will ask you for some files that are located on the CD-ROM. Insert the Windows NT4.0 CD-ROM and press "<ENTER>" to install the drivers.
      Restart your computer for the settings to take effect.
      To install the drivers for a Turtle Beach sound card in Windows NT4.0 follow these steps.
      Click on the "Start" button.
      Go to "Settings".
      Click on the "Control Panel" to open it.
      Double-click on the "Multimedia" icon in "Control Panel".
      Click on devices and select "Add"
      From the list that appears select on "Unlisted or Updated Drivers"
      Insert the Turtle Beach drivers for Windows NT4.0 to drive A:
      Then click on "OK".
      Click "OK" again to install the Turtle Beach drivers.
      Restart your computer for the settings to take effect.
      The sound should now be working in Windows NT4.0

      Q3. How do I change my display in Windows NT4.0?

       To change your display characteristics in Windows NT4.0 follow the steps below.
      Click on the "Start" button.
      Go to "Settings".
      Click on the "Control Panel" to open it.
      Double click on the "Display" icon.
      Click on "Display Type" under the "Settings" tab.
      Under "Adapter Type", click on "Change".
      Select the display type of your choice from the list.
      To update the latest display driver from a disk, click on "Have Disk".
      Windows NT4.0 will then install the necessary drivers from the Windows NT4.0 CD-ROM or from the specified manufacturer's drivers disk.
      Restart your computer for the settings to take effect.

      Q4. How do I play a music CD from Windows NT?

      Windows NT3.5x has a CD-Player built in that will play music CDs. Follow the instructions below to play a music CD in Windows NT.
      Open the "Accessories" group.
      Double-click on the "CD-Player".
      Windows NT3.5x will scan for CD-ROMs and play the music CD.
      Windows NT4.0 includes a feature called Auto-Play. With this feature enabled, all that must be done to play a music CD is to insert the audio CD in the drive while Windows NT4.0 is running.
