Mr. Farooq Riaz Chaudhry who hails from Gujrat, being a Social Worker, Sportsman, Artist, Potter, Calligrapher and Designer possesses a kind heart, a peace loving mind and courageous voice for the poor and downtrodden wherever they exist. He has always participated actively in social welfare activities. He has been working for peace with missionary zeal since 1996 . In this connection, he is embarking on the World Tour in the near future.

He walked down all the way from Gujrat to Islamabad, covering  the distance in three days to join the Golden Jubilee Celebrations held in Parliament House Islamabad on 14^th  August 1997. He was seen off from Gujrat by Mr. Khair Muhammad Tiwana, the Deputy Commissioner Gujrat. Now, as the 2^nd phase of his mission, he is undertaking a peace walk  from Islamabad to Lahore before starting on the World Tour.

In recognition of his services for the humanity and in the field of social work, the Asian Organization has bestowed on him, the title of “Ambassador of Peace”.

He was awarded a shield by the “Daily Jazba” Gujrat in recognition of his services for  humanity.

Besides, he has recently been presented a shield by the Speaker Punjab Assembly & Acting Governor Ch. Pervaiz Ellahi as a token of recognition of his efforts for the cause of peace, humanity and social welfare of the poor and downtrodden.

Peace and love is the voice which he intends to spread all over the world. May Allah Almighty be with him wherever he goes on such a sacred mission for the well being of humanity irrespective of geographical boundaries.
